We use the following service providers to provide our services:

  • Supabase: For storing your data and authentication. Data is stored in Switzerland or the EU.
  • OpenAI: For extracting recipe data from URLs and PDFs. Content you upload is transmitted to OpenAI to extract recipe information.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and stores on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, trojans or other malware.

We use cookies to ensure authentication and session management. These cookies are required for the functionality of our website.

  • request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 8 FADP
  • request the correction of incorrect or completion of incomplete data in accordance with Art. 16 FADP

  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR

6. Data Security

We use the widely used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser during your visit to the website. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead.
